Love does no harm

To truly love we really do have to die to ourselves and walk in the Spirit.

To be a fantastic mama is simple~ yet hard ~ we have to love selflessly.

To be a loving wife we have to love our hubby to more than our selves.

To be a good friend we have to love even if it cost us something.

To be Jesus to a world that longs for love but does not understand it truly~ we have to find our hearts humbled at the feet of Love so that we understand it in such a way that we share it.

That’s what love does ~ love does not just speak of good things it does the hard things to show the power of Love to overcome. Love truly does no harm. Most of us want to do the right thing. We just seem to not know what that is sometimes. Love does hold a standard but not a standard that keeps people out but a standard that draws people in because in this place there is freedom, acceptance, and mostly Love. Ultimately we are all learning how to love. When we make room for people in our lives to be who God created them to be and still push them on to godliness in the midst of it, it may be uncomfortable for us for a time but such love will change lives.

Choose love because Love never fails.  This reminds me of Jude’s charge for His beloveds to keep ourselves in the Love of God. ~ Not to just accept it as as a onetime gift but to continually keep ourselves in this Love so that we will remember where our home is and so that others may see, hear, and know this love for themselves. “But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, "In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts." These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. And have mercy on some, who are doubting; save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:17-25‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Humbling Grace

Humility does not mean you bowing to everyone’s complaints about you. That’s just serving a different god known as man. Humility is surrendering to God who guides your heart as you accept whatever c
