Mountain Mover

Beloved~ As you gather to worship today look for another that may need help adding more faith to their situation so that their mountain doesn’t look so overwhelming. You know the one ~ the one that has a similar story that you have already walked through. The one that your spirit stirs within you to love on so that they may know the strength of the Lord. The one who you long to encourage so that your pain has purpose and that purpose is to move mountains for others.

In Matthew‬ ‭17:20‬ ~ Jesus tells his disciples what they need to move mountains. But so many see this verse to apply to themselves and that is not at all what Jesus is implying here. The disciples want to do a powerful work not for themselves but for the hurting people around them.

But they can’t seem to do it.

Have you ever felt that way?

Jesus shares if they had just a little faith they could move mountains 🏔. Beloveds~ we need Truth to give us eyes to see grace. And grace to pour out of us as faith. And this faith is to reveal the grace and truth within us that is powerful enough to move mountains. When faith is given away as a gift it is life giving ~ just as it was for you when you first believed.

May we Let Truth reveal grace that flows as faith to be a mountain mover for others. This is a beautiful display of the church full-filling the law ~ to Love God and Love others well. What a gift that brings the Father glory. “And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” ‭‭

Humbling Grace

Humility does not mean you bowing to everyone’s complaints about you. That’s just serving a different god known as man. Humility is surrendering to God who guides your heart as you accept whatever c
