Week 4 ~ Living in the Light of the Resurrection by being His church ~
When life seems uncertain and lonely remember His gift of the church. Remember that you, beloved, are the church. That you matter and what you do matters in the #upsidedownkingdom. Remember, that someone is waiting for your gift of Love to invite them in. Jesus died so that our shame and our sins would not separate us from the Father. He overcame death and distance when He was raised to Life to be called the Resurrection. His power displayed through the Father raising Him from death gives us the strength to live in such faith that He has overcome every excuse, barrier, or wall that we can put up to separate us from the Father and each other.
There is nothing that can separate us from the Love of God and the Love of His people. Because the Love that His true disciples display is God's Love.
When His people live in the power of the Resurrection they live in the fullness of Grace and Truth revealing Love to those around them. Speaking life and moving mountains In Jesus Name. Seeing His glory in ways that only the Father could bring about.
We must look to see His goodness in sinful people.
We must seek His glory through humble hearts and confident faith.
~Today, there may be someone you are having a hard time loving, Love anyways.
It's worth it ~ that's where you see God's goodness
~Today, there may be someone you are having a hard time forgiving, forgive anyway.
It's simple but hard. In that place, you will see His glory as you see more of Him.
~Today, you may be disappointed and discouraged, Give thanks anyways.
It will change your view to see where God is working all things for the good to those that believe.
All, of these choices to choose what is good and right despite what is around us, strengthens the church and connects people as if they are family. This is the gift of His promised Holy Spirit!
We are called daughters and sons of the Father, with a heavenly inheritance. This reveals that we are to be family in God's upside-down kingdom. Therefore, we need to treat each other and strangers, like family.
We would move mountains for our family, let's give that same love to the people God calls His own. The ones that do not look like us or are in our circle of friends. Let us invite in the nations so that His love can reveal the place Christ died for, a place that all are known and belong.
How can you today, make an effort to love His bride as Christ did?
How can we reveal to the world His love for them through our love for one another?
What is God calling you to do that will usher in a family like atmosphere to your local congregation?
What can you do that will reveal that the nations are loved and cherished by the church?
Christ died so that you would know that you belong among His people through His spirit. Would we offer this same love to our neighbor, our co-worker, our church family that is imperfect, and to the person that lives in a nation that rejects the love of Jesus?
Let 's live in that power of Love, let's lay our lives( our own understandings) down so that others may live in the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
