An open letter to my 3 sons,
Oh, Beloved son of mine!
I sit and watch you fight the urge to have fun playing outside instead of studying. I see you take clocks, flashlights, anything that has moving parts and dismantle them to see how they work. I see you build great things from great ideas with your hands, and I know how smart and strong you really are!
I know that studying and sitting behind a desk is not the easiest for you, but I pray you find your strength to do what is hard and find it brings great rewards.
I will not be fooled by the thoughts that tell you lies, that you are not intelligent! I pray you know Truth and it sets you free from those lies as you take those thoughts captive and renew your mind. I also know that if you knew the potential you have for greatness, you would seek to use it and soar as if on wings of eagles!

Your grades don’t always reflect how smart you are…but They may reflect your effort!
You have proven this to be true over and over again! May these small achievements and failures bring you to a place where you ‘Man-up’ to any challenge that comes your way without fear or shame! Remember it is always a matter of the heart! Strengthen your heart first and it will renew your mind.
Your daddy and I, find great joy in you and what you choose to do. But we also have asked the Lord for great strength to do what is hard and that is to let you fail sometimes. So you may know humbleness and know for yourself His strength that will rise you up to higher heights.
We have all confidence in you and your abilities in this season, we have even more confidence in the One who made you just the way you are. If you follow Jesus and His word, you will achieve greatness. This greatness may seem small to the rest of the world but integrity and hardworking skills speak louder than any award this world may throw at you! For those awards should reflect character, not just achievements.
28 Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
29 He gives strength to the weary,
And to him who lacks might He increases power.
30 Though youths grow weary and tired,
And vigorous young men stumble badly,
31 Yet those who Or hope in

wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
