When did we start approving sin because of sin? When did culture get the right to call out the church? ••••••••• Beloved ~ We can call out sin without sinning ourselves. We can’t use the sin of others to excuse our own sin. I can’t warn against or approve these “shoes”, the video, and all they stand for because I understand the cause he is trying to address and the pull on emotion. Because man, our heart breaks when we hear of anyone taking their own life, for any reason. Suicide is heartbreaking. Missing the chance to love and not condemn is heartbreaking. Satanic glorification is not how to get the right outcome to a problem faced. But feelings can lead us astray. Only truth can set us free. And it must be spoken in love. Love is an action, not a feeling. This is just another way that society uses your feelings to lead you to “excuse” evil. And I find while doing this they seem to blame the church’s sin for what they are doing. Don’t be fooled ~ satan has been attacking the church since it was built upon the Rock. This is no different. The church is not perfect and that is why we know we need a Savior. We need the Holy Spirit. But we also need faith to believe. We need repentance, confession, forgiveness, and restoration. All of this has the power to push back the darkness.
