Summer Reads to Falling Grace
I just love when the Lord places right into your hands what you will need So that we may see and understand what He is doing in the days to come.
And these reads were exactly that.

These two books give you a lovely insight into what communion with others can and should look like. In those moments when you feel like you stand alone, these two books encouraged the heart by not only reminding that we do not stand alone when we stand with Christ but also that it isn’t crazy for believing God’s Word when it comes to unity and true fellowship with others and what that can and should look like.
These reads looked like grace to me in a season when person after person would state the unimportance of community and fellowship among believers. Communion with God can’t help but bring into existence a sweet community with others who share in this exciting journey.
The truth of this concept from God’s Word and the sweet grace to be an active part of what God is doing is what makes His people stand out. It is when we combine these two that we see God and the blessings He longs to give, knowing and not taking part or taking part and not knowing why you do what you do is and can be lacking in so many ways and also create damaging effects on you and those around you.
The Joy of having access to God and also the unity that can bring in the family of God ushers in His kingdom the way He will lead us to. Coming just the way we are to love others just the way they are and to encourage each other on to great things in Christ is what Jesus had in mind since the foundation of the world.
I have a sincere fear of ever leaving anyone out and a true joy of gathering people. You may be like me or you may be the one that needs someone to include you into their gathering (I have been that girl, way too often also) Grab these books sit with a comfy blanket and lay all the guilt aside that says you should be doing the dishes instead and dig deeper into finding that you are loved and not alone. For the Creator of the World longs to have you gather with Him in His presence and He has created a fellowship among His beloveds that you are always invited to join in with.
Let me know how these reads have challenged or encouraged you in the comments below.
Also In the prayer that Jesus gives us He states, we should pray, “As it is in heaven” ~ In heaven there will be a complete gathering of all those that believe and His church is a glimpse of heaven. Every tongue and tribe will be around His throne and as they are now through His son, united in His Spirit and will have all things in common because of what He has done for each of us.
Read Acts 2 and be in awe of what the Lord can and does have for those that truly believe. He wants to share grace to us in the form of His people as He has communion with them and us~ we can have a joyous, everlasting communion with one another. On a side note, if we connect ourselves with one another and join in this communion/fellowship we must remember that it is not for just this moment at this church but what we are, are believers giving a glimpse of heaven. We need to love one another and never uninvite someone by leaving that body because if you have a true perspective of the church then you would know that there will be only one church in heaven and God’s plan in His Word points us to establish that thinking here on earth if obeyed.
Ephesians 4
Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to live worthy of the calling you have received, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, aw bearing with one another in love, 3 making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spiritbb—just as you were called to one hope, at your calling—5 one Lord, one faith,c one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
7 Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 For it says:… Continue reading 🙂

These were three of my favorite reads this summer as I rode in the car or sat on the beach, I pray that you find these books also give you strength in understanding God’s word and a deep love for others.
May you find these a good “fall read” also and May your heart be strengthened to gather with God’s people and invite others to know Jesus.
